Plasma”. On the Subject of Natural Law by Ejzenštejn
From Non-Indifferent Nature
(Izbrannyeproizvedenija v sestitomach) to Metod, Ejzenštejn’s
thought progressively elaborates on the idea of organic and expressly
becomes a philosophy of nature. In light of modern bio-theoretical
discussions, this essay focuses on notions of natural law and nature
itself as treated by the Soviet director. It pays special attention to
the connection between emergence and ecstasy, form and bond, and birth.
